The workers were all so kind and hard working. The beach was beautiful and very accessible - it was cool to have black sand and an easily accessible restaurant to have views of the water. The biggest downside in my opinion was the temperature and cleanliness of the pool. The food wasn’t the best, but there were still great options especially Hibitsu. Our room had an amazing view and was extremely comfortable - probably the best I’ve ever stayed in. The resort was beautiful and well designed. One other minor downside was the transfer to and from the airport not being included and again having to deal with all the people at the airport trying to sell the club or timeshare packages. A down side to the resort was the location although it’s in a nice and quiet area most of the excursions are on the opposite side of Cabo, so the drive out was about 45 mins each way.
(Side note- they do not provide straws anywhere on the resort) A must try is the spicy mango margarita (frozen or on the rocks). We didn’t have to wait too long for drinks and they were very engaging. Of course water volleyball was alway fun with Ivan and Lorena!

We laughed so much! We met Sexy Charlie on our last full day at the sip and paint but I know we would’ve had so many fun stories if we would’ve met him early on in our trip. Alicia also left the tour earlier to give a water aerobics class that was a blast! Lorena and a male guide (can’t remember his name) gave a nice tour of San Jose Del Cabo again very informative but fun at the same time. Now on the other hand the entertainment staff was awesome! Ivan, Lorena, Alicia and “Sexy Charlie” (can’t remember his name) we’re FANTASTIC!! Ivan and Alicia gave a fun and informative bicycle tour. Once the workers understood my husband and I were not interested in the “time share” or “club” option they backed off but it wasn’t until several attempts by several workers. I know it’s their job but the first time we say no it should be no.

Every opportunity they got to throw out their “90 minute breakfast” option for a free excursion or two was very upsetting. Although the property was beautiful and clean the process for checking in and booking excursions was a hassle. We normally book Sandals but wanted to try something different.
